These posters were created in June 2017, in collaboration with Centro Legal de la RazaNew American Story Project and Forward Together. Original drawing created in pencil by me, based on photos by Lori Barra.

Since 2014, over 340,000 unaccompanied immigrant children and families have fled their homes in Guatemala, El Salvador, and Honduras. This poster shows one of these migrants, an Indigenous Guatemalan woman who fled for her life, traveling thousands of miles with her children, to seek asylum in the U.S.
